Hi, I’m Lee Wild of Lee's Not So Wild Yoga.
I teach Restorative Yoga a practice dedicated to deeply nourishing the body through mindfully resting the body and mind.
The practice focuses on ‘being’ rather than doing, using a range of props such as blocks, bolsters, blankets, the wall and eye pillows to create a fully supported practice allowing body and mind to open and release.
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice that encourages a passive release of mind and body tension, relieving the effects of chronic stress without actively stretching and supporting the bodies natural healing process.
Releasing tension from our muscles, joints and fascia also improves our mobility and flexibility, which helps prevent injury and reduces our stress levels.
The Yin of Restorative Yoga provides balance to the Yang of our busy and demanding lives by letting us slow down, nourish and replenish ourselves.
